Personality development means a person’s all features whether they are habits, attitude, character, looks and way a person describes himself in front of others. People are of many kinds and having much kind of problems such as not expressive, shy and untidy in looks. Personality plays an important role in a person life for achieving his/her objectives and aims of their life, and can build their career in their relative field and can enhance their life status by grooming or polishing their personality.

In simple words an improvement in all aspects and spheres of an individual’s life in all types of environment whether in an office or with friends or within ones family is known as Personality Development.

Tips for Personality Development with their sub-headings and brief description are as follows –

  1. Self Improvement
  • Meditation can give a person that inner peace like nothing else can. Initially, it is a little hard to concentrate and there will be plenty of distractions. Let these distractions be a part of the learning process. After some time, all negativity will be removed and you become happier.
  • Sleep gives a person a sense of calm and freshness when one wake up. But, try a reverse approach. Wake up about 30minutes earlier than normal and see how many more things a person can do. Extra time gives that extra edge to better oneself in many ways.
  • It takes fewer muscles to smile than to frown. So a person should always remember what he/she should be doing. Smiles make such a big difference, and when someone around is happy, it sends out positive vibes. Accept compliments with a smile and thank people for them. Be kind and everyone will do the same.
  • Principles are important in a school, college, at work and at home. They are equally important in a person’s life. Principles must be set in a realistic way. It can be as simple as not wasting food or as complex as saving paper. Rules are not meant to be broken. So if a person keeps his/her principles on, one would obviously become a better person.
  1. An honest person can only be able to analyze and able to overcome his/her errors in their own personality.
  2. One should not make laugh or laugh at people those who are in difficulty because while doing this a person immediately loses his/her personality.
  3. Don’t speak between the conversations or keep talking too much.
  4. A person should get rid of wrong habits and repeating a sentence frequently.
  5. Love others and respect them and their feelings for others.
  6. Every person should capable to adjust with others because it is known that a man is only a social animal.
  7. Love is the most important part of human aspects, so a person should develop the art of loving by getting rid of hating.
  8. Keep morals high in case of defeat and polite when victorious.

10.  Be optimistic in work and realistic in thoughts to enhance or polish their personal development abilities.

11.  Accompany with status people, so there would be a helping hand at the end when problem starts.

12.  Don’t live for the money because it is said that money makes many things but also makes devil dance.

13.  Never hate a poor and should always help as far as possible.

14.  Believe in God, morals and religious ethics to build positive thinking all time.

15.  Always respect and honor Mother, Father, teachers, colleagues and all other elders.

16.  Building up knowledge is more important by talking useless.

17.  Never speak for third person who is not front of one.

18.  Avoid speaking rubbish, abusive and vulgar languages in anywhere around.

19.  A person should posses good verbal skills or in interacting with people.

20.  Independence increases good qualities and personality by ridding bad qualities in a person.

21.  A person should always dress perfectly, well groomed and according to the people he/she meets while going somewhere, in an office or any other place.

Some of the problems faced by a person can be of three types of personality development which pulls a person back and not allow to expressive himself in front of others are –

Heredity: Heredity refers to those factors that were determined at conception. Physical structure, attractiveness, gender, temperament, muscle composition and reflexes are the characteristics that are generally considered to be either completely influenced by who your parents were, that is by their biological, physiological and inherent psychological makeup.

Environmental: The environmental factors that exert pressures on our personality formation are the culture in which we are raised, our early conditioning, the norms among our family, friends and social groups, and other influences that we experience.

Situational: Situation influences the effects of heredity and environment on personality. An individual’s personality although generally stable and consistent and change in different situations. The varying demand of different situation calls forth different aspects of one’s personality.
